Melissa graduated with a Second Upper LLB (Hons) from University of Hertforshire, UK in 2016. She then obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice from the Legal Profession Qualifying Board in 2017. After undergoing the statutory period of pupillage, she was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court in Malaya on 29.3.2019.

Prior to joining DJLaw, she was exposed to a wide spectrum of highly contested corporate and commercial litigation matters ranging from shareholders’ disputes, employment disputes, contractual disputes as well as debt recovery action to enforcement proceedings, i.e., bankruptcy proceedings, winding up proceedings.

As part of the Conveyancing Department in DJLaw, she handles complex transactional Real Estate & Probate as well as Banking & Finance related matters. Her area of practice continues to extend to corporate matters and advisory work.
